Vijayawada:  In a shock to electricity consumers in the state, the AP Electricity Re- gulatory Commission (APERC) has given the green signal for collection of fuel and power purchase cost ad- justment (FPPCA) from con- sumers in the state. APERC has allowed discoms to collect fuel and power purchase cost adjust- ment charges to the tune of.  ₹6,072 crore   The commission has asked the discoms to collect ₹1,400 crore from state govt towards the agriculture Sector Charges. The discoms will increase the power Charges by ₹1 to 1.58 per unit from November 1st.        SPDCL will collect   ₹ 2394.74 crore while CPDCL will collect ₹4722.51 crore .
